Remarkable Success for Burdwan’s Karate Champions at the All India Budo Shotokan Karate National Championship 2023

The “All India Budo Shotokan Karate National Championship 2023,” held at Kolkata’s Spring Club, showcased some of the state’s most talented martial artists—and it was a historic event for a karate training center in Burdwan. Under the guidance of their dedicated trainer, Sheikh Kabirul Hossain, the students achieved an inspiring milestone, bringing home an impressive total of 32 medals!

With approximately 30 students representing the Burdwan center in this prestigious championship, they faced fierce competition from 350 contestants from across the state. Their hard work, discipline, and resilience paid off as they won a total of eight gold medals, nine silver, and 15 bronze—a testimony to their skill and commitment to the art of karate.

Sheikh Kabirul Hossain, the trainer and driving force behind their success, expressed his pride and excitement over the team’s accomplishments.
